Design & Build

This is a rocker vest built to be fitted to the rider rather than bought off a size chart alone. The front closes with three brass buckles backed by chrome carbine clasps, so it fastens fast and holds. Down each side, leather lacing plus four side buckles give up to 5cm of expansion per side, and two shoulder buckles adjust the arm openings — between them you can tune the vest close or roomy over different layers.

The back is one seamless panel with no centre seam, which keeps the finish smooth and leaves a clean field for a three-piece patch set to sit flat and square.

The shell is genuine full-grain cowhide in black — the most hard-wearing part of the hide, which is what you want on a vest carrying this much hardware. Two zippered outer pockets keep the essentials secure.
