Design & Build

Most vests hide their paisley on the inside. This one brings it out — black-and-white bandana fabric worked into the chest pockets and side panels so the pattern reads from the outside, then carried through to the lining so the vest stays consistent when worn open.

Braided leather edging runs the front opening, both armholes and the hem. Braiding an edge is slower than binding it, and it is the detail that separates a handmade vest from a factory one at close range. The front is left clean and uninterrupted, which keeps it easy to layer over a shirt or hoodie. Four pockets in total: two on the chest, two at the hands.

How riders wear it
