Design & Build

This is a rocker vest built around its hardware. Three antique-brass hook clasps fasten the front, and the sides carry a heavy run of buckles — several down each side plus buckles across the shoulders — so the fit adjusts a long way in or out. The leather is clean smooth black cowhide rather than distressed, which lets the brass hardware stand out.

Unlike a plain rocker vest, this one is practical too: two snap-flap patch pockets sit on the lower front for storage you can actually use on the road. The neckline is collarless so nothing chafes.

The shell is genuine cowhide, with a smooth black finish and antique-brass fittings throughout. The back is a clean panel ready for a patch set.
