The finish is the whole look. The leather is worked to a heavily distressed brown-black, rubbed back at the high points so it arrives with the worn, weathered character riders usually spend years putting on a vest. No two come up exactly the same, and it only settles further with wear.

The cut is a clean cut-off: a short stand collar, a concealed centre zip behind a snap placket so the front stays uninterrupted, and a straight hem. Inside it is set up to carry, with concealed-carry gun pockets in the lining.
