Design & Build

The mesh lining is the detail that earns its place here. It has access panels built in, which means a patch can be sewn on properly, needle through the leather, thread caught behind, panel closed again. On a fully lined vest you either sew through the lining and see the stitching inside, or you pay a shop to unpick and re-close it. If you run club colours, this saves that job every single time.

The stitch pattern is the other half. Green thread runs in a crisscross across the chest and upper back, with double diamond stitching at the shoulders. It is thread rather than a panel or a print, so nothing peels, fades or lifts, and as the hide darkens the green stands out more.

The leather is diamond naked cowhide. Naked means unfinished on the surface, so it takes on the shape of whoever wears it. After a few months it stops being a vest and starts being your vest, which is exactly what a club vest should do.
