Design & Build

The side adjustment is the reason this vest exists. Instead of laces or a single buckle, it uses nylon triple straps over adjustable side panels, the same arrangement used on tactical carriers. Three straps spread the tension evenly, so the vest pulls in without pinching at one point, and it holds the setting rather than working loose on a long ride.

The roll-up collar is the other tactical borrow. Rolled down it looks like any club vest. Rolled up it closes off the back of your neck, which is where wind gets in when you are head-down on the bars.

The carry pockets are tapered holsters with bullet snaps, not plain pouches. Tapered means the pistol sits down into the pocket rather than shifting around; bullet snaps hold the retention strap without a two-hand fumble.

Closure is hidden snaps plus a centre zip, so nothing catches on a tank bag. Two zippered slash pockets on the outside. The mesh lining has access panels for patches and a dedicated pocket for back armour.

What does the roll-up collar do?
