Design & Build

The finish and the hardware carry this one. The cowhide is waxed and distressed to a worn brown-black, so it looks broken-in from the start, and hand-braided leather runs along every edge — the V-neck, the armholes and the hem — framing the whole vest. Antique-brass hook clasps close the front, matched by antique-brass buckles across the shoulders and down the sides for adjustment.

It is built to carry: a vertical zip chest pocket sits on the right, with further zip pockets lower down, so the essentials stay secure while you ride. The shoulder and side buckles let you take the fit in close or open it out over a layer.

The shell is genuine cowhide; the waxed treatment gives it a rugged, weathered surface that only looks better as it wears.
