Two things set this vest apart: the hide and the storage. The leather is top-grain buffalo hide in a retro brown that is deep-tanned rather than surface-dyed, so the colour runs through varying shades of brown to black and holds up over years — and because it is a natural finish, every vest is a little different.

Then there are the pockets — ten of them. Outside sit two small open front pockets and two vertical zip pockets. Inside, the lining carries two zip pockets, two snap-button slash side pockets big enough for concealed carry, and two smaller pockets. A removable gun holster is included, so you can set it up for carry or take it out.
