Design & Build

Buckles at both ends is what separates this from most women's aviator jackets. There is one at the collar and one at the hem. The collar buckle pulls the fur closed across your throat so it does not flap open at speed. The hem buckle cinches the bottom, which stops cold air being forced up inside the jacket while you ride.

Those two details were on the wartime originals for exactly those reasons. Most modern versions leave them off because they cost money to make, and you notice their absence the first time you ride in real cold.

The shell is 100% genuine sheepskin leather. The lining is faux shearling, which keeps the weight down. That trade-off matters more on a women's cut than a men's, because a full shearling aviator is heavy and that weight sits badly across narrower shoulders.

How it is worn

Over a knit, with denim and boots. Collar buckled shut when it is cold, open and folded down otherwise, which changes the shape of the jacket completely. Hem buckle loose over a jumper, tight over a tee.

Keep it dry where you can and let it air after wearing. Wipe marks with a barely damp cloth. Do not machine wash. Condition the shell once a year.
