The Blacktop Gear Distressed Beige B3 is a men's flight jacket in real leather with a distressed beige finish and white faux shearling. Buckled collar, front zip, two outside pockets and fur lined sleeves. Handmade to order in sizes S to 5XL at $200, with free delivery within the USA.
Design & Build
The sleeves are lined with fur, not just the body. That sounds obvious until you own a B3 that is not, and find your arms cold while your chest is fine. Fur down the full length of the sleeve costs more to make, which is why plenty of jackets skip it.
Beige with white shearling is a light combination, and light is unusual on a flying jacket. It reads clearly against traffic and dark road, which is worth something on a bike. It also marks more easily than brown, and you should know that before you buy rather than after.
The distressing is worked into the hide, so the jacket arrives looking used rather than showroom fresh. On a light colour that helps, because a spotless beige jacket looks precious in a way a scuffed one does not.
The collar buckles shut. A front zip closes the body. Two outside pockets, soft viscose lining through the torso.

How it is worn
Beige is the loudest thing you will be wearing, so let it lead. Plain tee, indigo denim, brown boots. Collar buckled shut when the wind picks up.

Are the sleeves lined with fur too?
Yes, full length. A lot of B3s line the body and leave the sleeves thin, which leaves your arms cold. This one does not.
Is the shearling real?
No, the shearling and fur are faux. The outer shell is real leather.
Will beige leather stay clean?
It marks more easily than brown or black. A leather protector applied before first wear makes marks much easier to lift, and the distressed finish hides a lot of what does land on it.
What does distressed mean here?
The finish is worked into the hide so the jacket arrives looking used rather than new. It keeps ageing from there rather than rubbing off.
