Design & Build

The zip runs at an angle, not straight up the middle. That is the detail that makes this a moto jacket rather than a bomber, and it is not just styling. An offset zip means the leather overlaps across your chest instead of meeting edge to edge, so there is no cold seam running down the front when you are moving.

The notch lapel is the second half of that. It lets the jacket sit open and flat like a blazer, or fold across and close high when the wind picks up. A round bomber collar cannot do both.

The belt is worth using. A shearling lined jacket adds bulk at the waist, and without a belt that reads as boxy on most women. Cinching it puts the shape back.

The shell is 100% genuine sheepskin leather. The lining is faux fur, which keeps the weight sensible. On a women's cut that matters, because real shearling is heavy and the weight lands badly across narrower shoulders.

No. The lining is faux fur. The outer shell is 100% genuine sheepskin leather.

Why faux rather than real shearling?
Weight. A real shearling jacket is considerably heavier, and on a women's cut that weight sits badly across the shoulders. Faux keeps most of the warmth and drops a good deal of the load.

What is an asymmetrical zip?
The zip runs at an angle across the front rather than straight up the middle. The leather overlaps as a result, so there is no cold seam down your chest. It is the classic moto jacket feature.

Keep it dry where you can and let it air after wearing. Wipe marks with a barely damp cloth. Do not machine wash. Condition the shell once a year.
