Design & Build

Three closures, and each one shuts a gap that cold air uses.

The collar buckle pulls the fur closed across your throat so it does not flap at speed. The hem buckle cinches the bottom, which stops air being forced up inside the jacket while you are moving. The cuff zips close the last gap at your wrists.

On a fur lined sleeve, zipped cuffs do more than a plain elasticated one. A lined sleeve is bulkier, so a fixed cuff either grips your wrist too tightly or leaves a gap. A zip lets you close it over a glove or open it to get a watch through.

The shell is 100% genuine sheepskin leather. The lining is faux shearling, which keeps the weight sensible. That matters on a women's cut, because a real shearling aviator is heavy and the weight lands across narrower shoulders.

Keep it dry where you can and let it air after wearing. Wipe marks with a barely damp cloth. Do not machine wash. Condition the shell once a year.
